Local Canadian Cause
The Little Spruce Co. is committed to supporting the community. Throughout the year we will select local Canadian charities or organizations doing important work and we will give them a portion of the proceeds of each of our sales.

The local cause we are currently supporting is the Quebec branch of the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) - SNAP Québec.
CPAWS is Canada’s only charity dedicated to the protection of public land, freshwater and oceans with a strong national and regional presence across the country. With almost 60 years of success, they are Canada’s leader in conservation based on expertise, public education, advocacy, and local knowledge. They focus on conserving nature to respond to the dual crises of accelerated biodiversity loss and climate change. To date, they have played a lead role in protecting over half a million square kilometres across Canada.
In Quebec, SNAP is working to create a network of protected areas across the province, to ensure the long-term protection of the boreal forest, of northern Quebec, and of the St. Lawrence and the ecosystems that are home to endangered species. They also ensure the proper management of existing protected areas.
